This guesthouse is located in the heart of Reykjavik, just around the corner from the bustling Laugavegur shopping street. It offers a shared kitchen, a TV lounge and free Wi-Fi. The dormitory rooms of Domus Guesthouse are simply furnished and have shared bathroom facilities. Apartment accommodation is also available with a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, TV and DVD player. A refrigerator, microwave and kettle can be accessed in the communal kitchen. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer for guests’ use. Free parking is also available on site. Staff at Domus can recommend restaurants and places to visit. Located next to Reykjavik’s main shopping street, Laugavegur, the guesthouse offers an ideal location for exploring the historic centre; shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, nightlife and main attractions can all be found within easy walking distance. Within 500 m from the guesthouse the following attractions can be found: - The old harbour where you can go on a whale watching trip (April-October). - The flea market, Kolaportið, open Saturdays and Sundays. - Hallgrímskirkja church, one of Reykjavík’s most famous landmarks. You can climb up to the church tower and enjoy a spectacular view of the city. - The Culture House, which houses Iceland’s Medieval Manuscripts, amongst other artifacts. Within 3 km of the hotel the following attractions can be found: - The National Museum. - The Pearl - one of Reykjavík’s landmark, where you can get a great view over the city, visit the Saga Museum and dine at the revolving restaurant at the top. - Kringlan shopping centre, with over 60 shops.
