Amid the fashionable shopping area and spanning two buildings on the main street of Laugavegur, Hotel Frón is located in a block of colourful Reykjavík houses. These functional guest rooms are decorated in a Nordic style and create a homely atmosphere.
Reykjavik is spread across a peninsula with a panoramic view of the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean on almost all sides. In the district you will find the national theatre, a broad selection of restaurants, cafés, art galleries and museums.
Hotel Frón includes some fantastic extras that keep costs down and ensure a more comfortable stay such as complimentary internet connection, computer access, a restaurant with a ground floor terrace and a wonderful continental breakfast.
The Mexican restaurant Santa Maria is Hotel Frón’s closest neighbour and collaborator; enter from the hotel’s lobby. The hotel’s breakfast buffet is also served here. Santa Maria, opened in spring 2008, offers authentic Mexican food and has become extremely popular with both guests and locals.
